Alba Power is adding further power to the team and is recruiting for an Engineer and Projects Manager 

Due to an internal promotion, Alba Power is seeking an experienced and ambitious Engineer and Projects Manager to join its growing team based in based in Netherley, 12 miles south of Aberdeen, to contribute to its ongoing growth within the oil and gas industry.

Reporting directly to the General Manager and leading a high performance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entirety of the Engineering and Projects Department. The candidate must ensure that company goals are met in a timely fashion by efficiently and effectively managing personnel and resources. The role requires an ability to multi-task, and you should have excellent organisational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Previous experience in this or a similar role is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be a team player who can work and collaborate with department heads as well as being able to lead and manage teams and employees; delegating responsibilities and communicating well in both written and verbal formats. The position requires a candidate who will be effective at executing administrative responsibilities and be able to manoeuvre and develop business procedures in a dependable and professional manner. Candidates should have proven technical and projects experience and have good working knowledge of the repair scheme.  The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aims of the project are met and to a standard of quality that is expected from Alba Power. They will also monitor sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained and be resourceful, inventive and self-confident.

Key skills required include organisation, analytical skills, numerical skills and commercial awareness. Alongside these the willing candidate should also be an effective communicator who can manage a team whilst being diplomatic with a strong ability to motivate others.

Preferably living in Aberdeenshire area but not essential.
