Alba Power are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for their first award of 2015 further reinforcing their exporting prowess.
The global turbine service company who are based in Netherley in Aberdeenshire have been shortlisted as Export Champion for the Offshore Achievement Awards which will be held in Aberdeen later this year. This latest award nomination comes just months after the growing global company won Export Champion at the Growing Business Awards in London, as well earlier in the year when the Scottish based company was awarded as Entrepreneurial Exporter of the Year at the BQ Scottish Export Awards in April last year.
Following on from these recent successes the whole team at Alba Power were delighted to have received further recognition for their international growth. The global leading independent is proud to boast over 140 gas turbine customers in 16 countries worldwide which includes the USA, Vietnam, Abu Dhabi, Singapore, Europe, India and Indonesia. With current plans to expand their premises in Houston and to continue developing their business, Alba Power is looking forward to a prosperous future working closely with clients and partners from across the globe.

As well as being recognised for their exporting growth in 2014, the company also enjoyed a successful year with a host of prestigious award shortlists including The Northern Star Awards, Oil and Gas UK Awards, The Manufacturer of the Year Awards and Offshore Achievement Awards. As well as winning BQ Entrepreneurial Exporter of the Year and Export Champion at the Growing Business Awards, Alba Power was also recognised as Energy Champion at the European Business Awards.
The SPE Offshore Achievement Awards have a 28 year history of celebrating outstanding success within the UK offshore industry. The prestigious awards ceremony will take place on Thursday the 12th of March at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre. Alba Power are looking forward to attending the awards, with their fingers crossed for another export success!
