Alba Power Invests in World Class Business

As the Management Team in Aberdeenshire continue their training in line with the World Class Business framework, Alba Power is pleased to announce investment into the site as they gear up for a large investment into an additional workshop and office extension.

With planning permission recently granted, work is due to begin in December, with the finish date expected for Spring 2016. The investment will see new, purpose built office space for the operations and projects teams as well as a 54m extension of the workshop – doubling it’s already impressive size and offering.

The recently introduced, World Class Business initiative is a strong driving force behind these developments as it strives to make continuous improvements for the business and the workforce. As well as benefitting the team, the additional space will also allow for an increase in volume of work especially with new product lines beginning work at Alba Power.

Neil McKenzie explained, “The introduction of the World Class Business initiative has been an excellent opportunity to review the current offering at Alba Power and understand how, as a team, we can work better together. We are looking to improve on and develop from our successes, and these extension plans are key to the business continuing grow.”
