
How can you compete with OEM support?
For some years, we have been investing heavily in Olympus and Avon parts and exchange turbine units in anticipation of a tailing-off in OEM support for older turbines, so we are in a strong position to offer both rapid-response repairs and overhauls, as well as fully sustainable long-term maintenance and support services.
All our services are fully accredited to ISO 9001, and we already hold a number of significant long-term support agreements with major oil and gas operators in the North Sea, including Marathon Oil UK Ltd.
Are you OEM-approved?
No, we believe that OEM approval would increase our charges and restrict our service flexibility. We are fully accredited to ISO 9001 for all our operations, including testing and servicing operations of Rolls-Royce gas turbines.
We are also accredited and approved by a number of independent companies and organisations, and have invested heavily in building up one of the world?s most comprehensive stocks of gas turbine spares and engines.
What specification do you work to?
All our personnel have extensive experience of working to standard industry specifications, and all Alba operations are carried out to these same standards. We have also pioneered industry-leading innovative repair schemes to minimise downtime and deliver added value.
What warranty do I get?
We operate an industry-leading warranty cover which is specifically suited to client operational requirements, as well as liability cover to £10 million.
